Farnaz Sedaghatbin is born in
Tehran (Iran) in 1960. She was
eighteen when she entered the
Tehran’s Fine Arts Faculty. With
the upcoming of the new
regime and the unstable
political situation after the
revolution of 1979, she was not
allowed to finish her study. In
1987 she came to The
Netherlands and followed her
study here. She graduated
from Utrecht’s High-School for
Arts in 1995. Most of her works
have cubic and architectural
structure, in balance with
figurative motives. She mostly
uses oil color on canvas.
